'Care 4 Life' Charity Compilation mit Musik von The Chemical Brothers

Die Corona-Pandemie hat Großbritannien schwer getroffen und mittlerweile verzeichnet die UK über 40.000 Tote. Um das angeschlagenen Gesundheitssystem zu unterstützen hat das Label Above Board Projects am 12. Juni die Charity-Compilation 'Care 4 Life' veröffentlicht. 

Insgesamt umfasst der Sampler ganze 45 bisher unveröffentlichte Tracks und mit dabei sind prominente Namen aus der britischen House- und Techno-Szene. Unter anderem haben Nathan Fake, Matthew Herbert, Maya Jane Coles und The Chemical Brothers einen Beitrag zur Compilation geleistet, bei der sämtliche Einnahmen an die NHS (National Health Service), dem staatlichen Gesundheitssystem Großbritanniens und Nordirlands gehen.

“Through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic we have all developed a new understanding and awareness about the role our frontline health professionals undertake," heißt es in dem Pressetext zu 'Care 4 Life', "and as a nation we are all united in our appreciation of the incredible work they have delivered in the face of much adversity and pressure in the last couple of months. We hope the proceeds from this amazing collection of music can contribute to easing that pressure in some way."

Die 'Care 4 Life' Compilation kann man ab sofort auf der Bandcamp-Seite von Above Board Projects kaufen. Zusätzlich veröffentlicht das Label die beiden 12" 'Vinyl Sampler Pt.1-2', auf denen zehn der 45 Tracks zu finden sind. Neben den oben erwähnten haben unter anderem auch Jamie Jones, Radio Slave, Daniel Avery, Laura Jones und Groove Armada Musik zu dem Sampler beigesteuert.
